The Swan Song

Going into the creation of this site; I was just some scrub from that other site who was just starting to get active over there. I randomly received a message to come over to this young site. Out of the blue I decided to start lurking, and I started making posts because the members seemed like pretty cool dudes. The site started to grow and I remained active because I truly wanted this to reach it's full potential. Seeing the site loaded with new posts whenever I would sign in told me that things were going well (which was 90% of the time). I put forth alot of time and effort to try to make this site as great as it could be.

As of late there has been plenty of talk about "change" on these forums. When I first stumbled upon the posts (and I say stumble because I randomly found them rather than being told like an admin should have been) I was a little alarmed. It seemed as if the majority of the talk about change was by people who had contributed very little to the site in regards to Madden. At first I was a little distraught, but now I have realized what I am going to do.

Let me change the direction of this for a moment. I'm a sophomore in college who is constantly busy. I'm running for Vice President of my fraternity, member of multiple clubs, neuroscience major, and I play multiple intramural sports all year. Obviously, the majority of my time is occupied with random moments of free time which is then filled sporadically with girlfriend time.

What I am getting at is that I don't have the time or energy to build a new site up from basically the ground. I was not sure whether or not I would even bother to head over to the new site, but I decided that I can't just ditch you guys straight up. I won't want any leadership positions or anything of the sort. I'm not even sure how often I will post (I'm making this post at 2:30 am...).

Like all things in life, eventually it will all have to come to a conclusion. I'm planning on selling my PS3 and games very soon, and as time goes by I will be less and less active on the new site until eventually I am gone with the wind.

I thank all of you for the great times that were had here (The Tru Story, Sleezy calling me out asking for a picture, The LBK/Bibleman Penis Saga, and loads more) and truly wish the best for the new website.
