I find the best way to stop a run is through nickle and blitzing ur linebackers. I also put them to the right so i get some outside blitzes as well just incase for a pitch. What do you guys do???

I've been using Nickel 3-3-5 with the QB spy, pinching and crashing the line, then using an outside man to apply pressure from the wide side. Works well. I've been experimenting with the 46 book, but it seems to have too many guys running into one another at the li for me to feel effective.

a good run stopping play is 46 (cant remember if its bear or normal..both forms have the play but one is better) DE contain. If you are absolutely positive that they are passing do the following. blitz both safeties and move them to the outside to stop the toss. crash the line and pinch it.

works well cuz the contain then crashing part is the 4DL glitch...just like the 3DL one but less effective

makes some sense if u think about it but the only thing i hate this year when ur switchin players is if u pass them up real quick u half to go through the rotation all over again.

46 normal - speed
nickel 3 3 5
both are good against the run! but as patriots said, learn their tendencies and adjust to them. just don't get committed to the run alot or a PA pass will burn ya!
