im having trouble with the deep ball this year....getting behind the coverage...everything just hangs up and gets picked...and when i try to break the safetys in the cover 2 i just get hit...or it gets picked off....once in a great while i will get lucky...but thats just how the game is...

i need some deep plays with some consistancy...

boston i liked ur play to get behind prevent....

anything else i could do like that on a consistant basis..

For madden 10 I still don't have the game or else I would have some plays for u.. I'm gona get it eventually and ill have a full pats pb breakdown.. I have an interview for a job wednesday so if I get it ill be on madden soon... I did notice playing madden 10 on ps3 at my friends house that corner routes and screens are killers.. I don't know if I find as many plays as I did in 09 to beat safeties deep but ill definately be finding some and posting them when I find them!

you gotta use a strong arm qb and then user catch because you can't burn the dbs deep anymore at least I haven't been able to

There isn't much you can really do to go deep this year. You just have to work out your gameplan, and try to adjust to what your opponents doing so that you can beat him from his own mistakes. I play guys who run cover 2 alot, and I come out of the SG Bunch, use the package WR strong so that I have my best WR lined up on a LB, and use the playy verticals. The #1 WR will run a fade route, and usually beat the LB if its man coverage, and if its zone, then you have someone else running a crossing route.

not sure what game all of you are playing but the fade route is working sick for me... it worked with Tavaris Jackson and now works with brett farve, but it might be the fact the I have two the fastest wrs. also keep this in mind when passing this is key and helped out last year and does this year... Hit circle to switch to another wr or rb prior to snapping the ball so the the screen pans out to view the DB's this year is easy to read zone, if db is looking towards the qb most of the time he is playing a zone then wait until he gets about 10-15 yrds down the field then precission pass to the out side turn into the wr then hold right analog stick down
