| your turning a cov4 into a cov 2 on 3rd down lol no thanks. Listen, 3rd down is all about having 4 deep blues so they cant hit you with a streak, post or something else that will get them that first. so on 3rd down i either blitz with coverage or fag d with a contain and a spy. FAG D means fourth and goal defense, its where you have everyone in coverage even linemen.
3rd down blitz- bear flipped buzz weak
setup: slide line left reblitz RE(on screen) and LDT, the place ss over top of left b gapand play fs over mid or yellow zone a little deeper then usual
watch for screen or post
3rd down coverage play-
46 cov4: setup- slide linme right put LOLB(on screen) in purple and play RE as a purple
watch for screen and curls |

dude, plz look at the play 1st. there are 2 db's in purple zones, AS WELL as 4 DB's in 2A(deep) zones, so it isn't a cover 2, it's still cover 4, jus stopping the underneath routes to the HB's |

my bad i misunderstood i thought you meant hot route 2 dbs into flats but your saying hot route the purples into flats, this makes it so they cant hit the flats on 3rd and long? |

yeh, cuz ppl like to hit the flats, get about 7 or 8 yards breakin the 1st tackle, and then goin for it on 4th. I mean, if you want, drop one of the DB's on a flat zone, and leave the other on the corner. |
