my computer runs perfectly fine... my ps3 however has been experiencing lag ... none of my settings have changed i tried turning off firewalls deleted everything off of my ps3 (music, demos, unneeded savedata) if someone can please help me with this id be really grateful

i had some lag a while back....your internet signal (not from your router to the ps3, but from your company to your modem) is probably weak, what you may have to do is call your company and have them come out and somehow strengthen that signal. when was the last time you had your internet checked?

idk about that cuz my computer still runs at the same speed

well i would do the following

1) contact sony first
2) instead of using a wireless connection, plug the ethernet chord into the ps3 to see if it still lags
3) turn the modem off, the router off, for at least an hour
4) if all that fails, call your internet provider


i remember having huge lag too earlier in the year, my internet was fine, just the signal was weak.

eh... its been plugged in the router the whole time... but when i plug it in to the old router, it works fine!.. 2 bad my mom chooses to keep the new router so my sister can use her wifi anywhere in the house on her pc instead of just plugging it in
