okay guys....... i have found a few good run stoppers out of the 3-4 Defense. thanks for ALL of your posts to help.....lol!! j/k here's one that i keep in my audibles.

3-4 Stack Thunder Smoke (option: run as is or Flip the play)

-Pinch the D-line / Blitz down
-Pinch the LBs
-Manually control the FS to clean up outside runs

option: place the outside rushers in a contain

or:

-Call the play flipped
-Pinch the D-line / Blitz down
-Pinch in the LBs
-Move the SS (deep blue zone) down to the LOS over/outside TE
-Manually control the FS...watch the RB or clean up outside runs

for me.....this play has been locking up the fb dives and hb slams that are ran up the middle out of the Singleback, I-Formation and the Fullhouse formations. i have also noticed that when the play is flipped....the heat is a little more intense. in case they audible to a pass....for extra coverage.....i playmaker both CBs to deep zones....the FS in a deep zone....and the MLB in a yellow zone to cover the middle. i will manually rush one of the blitzers on the line. normally the heat is too intense to get a pass off.....lol! there is actually a lot you can do with this play if you are quick with your adjustments.

i don't think you will want to blitz all those linebackers..

if they pass on you and your running that.. then your screwed

slants or crossing routes could do work on this defense

for this parrt i would advise shifting your d-line to the strong side (heavy reciver side or TE side) and shift your line backers to the weak side and then blitz the linebacker on the strong side of the ball (TE side) that way you wont be so screwed with a pass or slant etc.

lololololol!! you guys are missing the point of this post! scratch this is a RUN STOPPER guys! this is one of the plays that i run when i KNOW FOR SURE that my opponent is trying to run the ball up the middle with dives and slams. i think that i CLEARLY stated that in my initial posting. now....when it comes to covering slants, outs, curls or streaks from this formation....i will either audible out of it to one of my pass defenses..... or....simply make a few adjustments (based on my opponents tendancies throughout the game) to it in order to cover passes. i may drop a LB or 2 into a yellow or purple zone...or a DE in the light blue or flat zones. i will shade my safeties....and then manually control my FS or SS to watch for the deep pass and to assist if its a run. other than that guys....let's keep it simple here. lol! this is just a slamming RUN STOPPER out of the 3-4 defense.

honestly guys 3-4 defence is okay but is hard to get pressure using this defence on passing plays. even if you try to use blitzes they dont get in there fast enough and it seems like the fb or hb are always open on any 3-4 defence.
my suggestion is to use 4-3 defence washington playbook you gonna love it
