can you do it on NG?

i used it quite a bit on the PS2, but starting this year ive begun playing NG, and havent yet found it. to be honest, i havent really read the manual, but thats because i dont own a PS3 or 360 yet. I only play it on other peoples systems, and i always forget to check.
