then why in one season, a season where he splits carries at that...do more then Westbrook. And it wasn't all the last game of the season titan. |

| well...
peterson had 8 more rushihng yards than westbrook
but recieving... westbrook had 503 more. and 6 more TDs.
so i dont see your arguement?
i wouldnt call 240 to 160 split carries but, sure he was sharing time but so was westbrook.
and keep in mind the eagles have a pass first offense. |

| Another postitive in Westbrook's case is that he is more consistent. You have Peterson have those monster games of 200 yards about 2 or 3 times. but in the game of the Niners he was shut down by Patrick Willis and the Niners D and only rushed for about 3 yards and finished with 144 yards in the last 4 games. With Peterson you will either have a monster game or a quiet game. With Westbrook he is giving you a solid game or a great game. |

| heres how i see it right now....from watching the both of them....yes westbrook is really great hes solid...at every aspect of the game...and always finds a way to gain a couple more yards than most runnning backs...Adrian has got way more moves than westbrook with the ball at his hands, if hes running the ball so well they could just run play action and find a wide reciever to be open most of the time...thats why i think he wont get as many catches a game...unless it like a screen pass....hell , i would be stoked if either one ended up on my BEARS...matt forte will do...i think he will be like thomas jones when he was on the bears |

but he wasn't 100%, that's the point. I still personally think LJ is probably the best running back in the league. if only he didn't sit behind Priest for so long...
He's the only running back who's just getting started when he has 30 carries |

| i wouldnt say Peterson has way more moves than westbrook. Brian is one of the most agile players in the whole sport. One thing Adrian has over westbrook is size and strength. Westbrook is only 5'8 and 203 lbs. PEterson has 5 inches and 15 lbs on him.
i wouldnt say the Vikings O line is much better, but they are better.
If given the right O line anyone can look like a good RB. Look at emmit smith down the line, In dallas he was still putting up numbers. When he left for Arizona he was a shell of himself. |

It doesnt mantter if he is a rookie or not. I only can judge from what I can see and what I see is inconsistency. You cant say they he will be better most likely he will but potential gets people fired. |

LJ is up there, but how can you blame the Chiefs for not starting him ahead of Priest, Priest was one of the best if not the best runningback for a stretch in KC |

| The thing is RBs dont last long at all.
Look at Shaun Alexander, from his 06 season to 07 hurt and playing poorly, to now...he cant even find a job.
How long Peterson can stay healthy with his style of play is yet to be seen. |
