| who cares  said once and ill say it again.. all star voting is a joke can someone explain to me how manny gets a starting outfield spot even though he: has 6 less homeruns than grady sizemore has 19 less stolen bases than grady 3 less triples than grady 8 less walks than grady less doubles/runs/hits than grady more strikeouts than grady im sure there are other more qualified outfielders as well, also, ftr ichiro is garbage and shouldn't be a starting outfielder |

| i actually agree for the most part...i dont think fukudome should be starting of ichiro....but its going to be like that. at least hamilton, utley, soto, etc are starting who really deserve it. |

when Grady is 35 and is already a 1st ballot hall of famer then he can start over Manny.... but until then he can ride the pine. I agree grady is having a better season but Manny has a better resume

wait wait wait, isnt this the 2008 all-star game? its supposed to be on how they are performing in this season, and grady deserves it more then manny

thats they way it should be but it isnt, its about reputation and Mannys is greater like i said grady needs about 400 hrs, 2 rings, and a ws mvp before he starts in front of him... again thats not the way it should be but it just is
also you shouldnt be talking 2 of your ofs shouldnt be starting if were talking about the 2008 season |

| I'm glad that the Red sox have 7 players but a few of them got snubbed. Varitek for 1 should not be on the team, while providing leadership and everything he is only hitting 220.
I think that Lowell should have made it as a backup 3rd basemen
I also think that Matsuzaka or Lester should of made it. |
