| Yankees are to sign Erik Milton. He used to be a top prospect but then he was traded and got injured. They expect him to be ready to pitch in a little over a month.
I think they are also considering Richie Sexon who was released the other day by the mariners. |

| dont know why this wasn't posted in here... harden and chad gaudin to the cubs for Sean gallagher, matt murton, eric patterson, and josh donaldson all i know is that harden has made 26 starts in the past 3 years and has already been on the DL for a month this year... dont think cc has ever missed a start  do you know ptp? |

| The Braves offered Mark Teixeira for Kevin Youkalis and Craig Hanson.
The Red Sox declined that trade.
Although Teixeira is a great player and i would love to have him on the red sox Youkalis is also putting up great numbers offensively and defensively. He can also play 3rd base. Craig hanson has a promising future ahead of him as a pitcher but i wouldn't mind giving him up. |

fuck that Hansen is gonna be a stud, he throws a 98+ fastball with movement, a devastating slider, and a good sharp breaking curve. Only problem he has is his command, thats why they retooled his whole delivery and mechanics, but last few apperances hes gone 1-2-3
Right now Youkilis is hitting .314 AVG|15 HR|63 RBI
Right now Teixeira is hitting .271 AVG|17 HR|69 RBI
idk ima take some with a higher avgerage average and about equal in every other category, both are gold glove winners,
Teixeira is better but not by much and Hansen is one of the better prospects in the Red Sox organization and 2 hot commodities for a slightly better 1B is flat out dumb and idk why the Braves would waste their time |

| tex is a switch hitter tho but trading youk would hurt the chemistry...plus, theres no need for tex if papi comes back, if they were to get tex...it has to be mostly prospects, not youk or any sox starters |

| I saw the same thing. He's worse then lugo.  I don't think the red sox will settle for someone like him though. if they don't get Holliday then they probaly just use Lowrie and Cora. |
