| So if the playoffs started today, this is what would happen
Cub vs. Dbacks Phillies vs. Cardinals
Rays vs WhiteSox RedSox vs Angels
Cardinals and RedSox with the wildcard. Will these hold up? Predictions. |

| Mets are terrible They will not make it to the playoffs, no way they beat out the Phillies, Braves, or Marlins. |

| mets got a ton of talent, its hard not to believe they wont make some sort of run...and i think the rays are going to hang around for a while because of pitching, they are last years dbacks...everything about them is the same. phillies and cubs will end up with the NLs best records and this is my prediction
Cubs vs. Dodgers (no way in hell DBacks hold on I think, they have 0 offense) Phillies vs. Brewers
Cubs vs Phillies =========================== RedSox vs. WhiteSox Angels vs. Rays
RedSox vs Angels ===========================
ANGELS VS CUBS ======== Cubs
================================ Im not being biased, I honestly think the Cubs are going to win it, we are still 17 games above .500 with big z, sori, rami, theriot, edmonds, reed johnson---platoons with edmonds against leftys, fukudome all hurt at one point of time....when the all-star break happens, every1 will be 100% healthy, god forbid any new injuries before the break
1. We are most likely going to acquire a SP---Harden most likely. 2. We have the best offense in the league 3. Sori was FINALLY starting to steal bases before he broke his hands, so hes finally healed from his leg as he said 4. Sean Gallagher has been nothing but great for us. 5. Our Bullpen is phenominal
Howry-7 Marmol-8 Wood-9
.........................................case being, I cant see any team beating the cubs in a 5,7 game series. |

not as strong.... same players down schilling and buchholz is out right now other than that its dominating.. Beckett #1 Lester #2 Matsuzaka #3 Wakefield #4 Masterson#5
and in case some1 gets hurt Buchholz and Colon are wating bullpen right now is being sorted out but still Okie Dokie and Papelbon anchor that pen and Delcarmen has been outstanding in the 7th
put it this way, who do u want in the mlb right now pitching in game 7 of the World Series...i know i want JB19 |

| okajima isnt even the SU man anymore, beckett isnt wat he was last year, matzusaka has a great record, but terrible control...and that will show against the teams in the playoffs (rich hill last year)...wake will always have a mid 4's ERA and bucholz is still extremely young, colon is washed up
to me, ur rotation isnt a playoff type rotation
Big Z Dempster Lilly C.C, Harden, Burnett Marquis Gallagher
all have been solid, and the stats show... Cubs have a better ERA...and if it wasnt for the way theyve been playing the last week and a half, theyd be blowing the sox out stats wise
and lets face it, the cubs will probably go with a 3-4 man rotation and no1 wants to face z, demp, 1 of those above player, lilly.....
this year, the cubs are better than the sox....they got a stronger foundation |

I wouldnt call that a playoff type rotation and again we have the same rotation except schilling that won the series last year... im sorry to say it but the true WS is the ALCS
im gonna assume who you would throw out u can correct me if im wrong about the order of the cubs starters
Game 1 Beckett vs Big Z Game 2 Lester vs Dempster Game 3 Matsuzaka vs Marquis Game 4 Wakefield vs Gallagher
i dont care what any1 says Beckett is the greatest playoff pitcher in the MLB and is one of the better 1s of all time he isnt gonna lose game 1, i dont care who else is on the mound: EDGE RED SOX
Lester can be dominant times and other times he can be terrible, and Dempster on the otherhand has been very consistant so i give: EDGE CUBS
Matsuzaka is another guy he is shaky at times but can flat out dominant a game, he has the stuff and has some postseason experience under his belt, marquis was the same pitcher who lost game 4 in the 04 world series only problem is Dice-K control but if hes hitting his spots good luck: SLIGHT EDGE RED SOX
Wakefield is a streaky pitcher who can go into a stretch(like he is now)and completely unhittable. The NL never sees knuckleball pitchers and Wake is great against them in interleague play. To be honest i havent seen much of Gallegher, but i know he hasnt pitched in the playoffs: EDGE RED SOX |

| Marquis probably isnt going to make the rotation, neither will gallagher...ur gonna have to face one of the pitchers we pick up and lilly.....im not saying ur rotation is bad, its just vulnerable this year, wakes getting old, matzuzaka has control issues- and that wont help against the best OBP % in the league, beckett will be great but we have experience vs him, and lester vs dempster will be a good matchup but u always go with experience and consistancy here like u said....dempster should be 12-3 but the BP has blown 3 road game wins this year.
cubs ownership has stated that they will pick up a pitcher at the deadline or before |
