I find this really funny because people have been argueing over whether or not there should be an asterisk on it.

I for one beleive that the HOF should accept the ball because it's a major part of baseball history but i think there should be an asterisk.

Now the owner of the ball, Mark Ecko, 'permanetely donated' the ball to the hall of fame. It was breaking news about 2 hours ago, but I don't know if they will put an asterisk on it yet.

why would somebody buy a baseball for $750,000 and then permanetly give it away.

i was just watching sportscenter and the owner of the ball put an asterisk on it before he brought it to the HOF.

Yea I just saw that on sportscenter this morning. I wonder how the HOF will display it to the public though? Will they show the side with the asterisk on it or turn it over?
