inconsistant? He has 3 playoff shoutouts(2 consecutive). Thats 1 away from tying Christy Matthewson for the all-time record. He threw a 2 hit shutout the Cubs in the '03 NLCS then 2 hit shutouted the Yankees in a deciding game of the '03 WORLD SERIES. He was also the MVP of the series. Then Wednesday he threw a 4 hit shoutout against Anaheim. If thats not a big game pitcher then I don't know what is.
