consistently good you said before they won 1 title in 88 years and then how are the consistently good ?????? its just cause there in a big market just like the yankees were 12 games back or w/e it was and everytime i would watch espn i would here "can the Yankees come back"? and it would be the exact same as if the red sox sucked at the beginning and if lets say the A's were back 12 games they would not have topics on first and ten just about can they come back cause no one on national news would care they just care about big market teams

P.S. I know you dont just follow good teams like the pats it sounds like you live in boston or have at one point and you like the teams around that area but dont complain about only winning one title with boston in 88 years when your football team has won 3 in recent memory

the indians have won the central division exactly 50% of the time since the beginning of the AL central. apparantly we aren't consistantly good though. how many world series have boston been to in the past 15 years? sounds pretty consistant to me...

oh ya ur division has some great teams. Not bad teams like the Yankees who seem to make the playoffs every year. Your division has the tigers who have made the playoffs twice in 20 years.

And don't tell me the Indians didn't get a lot of coverage when they had Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome, Orel Hershiser, Roberto Alomar, Eddie Murray, Carlos Baegra back in 1995 when they were an offensive machine. And back then no1 in Boston was hating on you cuz you were getting a lot of coverage. Even though you sweeped us. But how could we compete with Dennis Martinez game 1 then Orel Hershiser game 2 and Charles Nagy game 3 and pitch to that lineup? That team should of won it all. But I can man up and say when we are outmatched or whos a good team, but dont say this 2007 Boston Red Sox team sucks because you know thats bullshit. If you don't have to like them, but you have to respect them.

we won the best division in ALL of baseball this year. I believe we have the sox and tigers who were at the world series not too long ago.. and you can't say that the red sox are that much better than the indians considering we had the same record
