Report from Philadelphia, PA-
As training camp has ended Coach Cheeks and GM Maroney have come forth with the starting line-up for opening night in the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The starters are as followed:
C. Samuel Dalembert
PF. Brandon Wright
SF. Andre Iguodala
SG. Jeff Green
PG. Andre Miller
Coach Cheeks said the hardest position to name a starter was at the point. Cheeks said that rookie Mike Conley has caught his eye and made it a real close decision, the determaining factor came down to the experience of Miller. " You know that Andre is gonna get the ball to your scorers and he knows what plays to call versus certain defenses. He is like another coach on the floor." Reggie Evans and Shavlik Randolph did not make the team and GM Maroney has decided to send them down to the D-League.

Game 1/82
Philadelphia @ Toronto

Final Score:
Philadelphia 65 (0-1)
Toronto 81 (1-0)

Key Players:
Kyle Korver 22 points
Samuel Dalembert 10 rebounds,10 points
Chris Bosh 38 points
Andre Bargnani 8 points,18 rebounds

A disgusting show of offense was the theme of the game for the 76ers from the get go to the final horn. The game began with Phily digging themselves in a hole only scoring 11 points and allowing 24. The hole could not be recovered from and Chris Bosh had a field day with Samuel Dalembert all night long. Coach Cheeks was seen after the game yelling furiously at his players. Rumors have been swirling about Andre Iguodala and sources say trades are eminent to help improve the offense.

Interviews are now open, Dalembert, Coach Cheeks, and Kyle Korver are all sceduled to speak

This question is to Coach Cheeks:

With the game that Kyle had, is there any consideration in starting him at SG?

" At this time I can't go into detail about that, but we weill look into it. Obviously Kyle had a stellar game, and I was hoping to have that spark of the bench. With that said Jeff is still a better defensive player in my opinion, he was probably having the rookie gitters. But to answer the question um there will be consideration, but we are realling hoping that Jeff gives us a better performance than he showed tonight.

Question to the Owner:
With the recent collapse and choke of the Pats, are u goin to be equally as upset or more when the Celtics do the same thing?

Hows the Pacers and Colts doing???... indy sucks so much they don't even have a hockey or baseball teams lol!

but to answer this offtopic subject question... I wont be upset at all if the Celts don't win this year I really don't expect them to win, with the Pats I counted the chickens before they hatched

they have a minor league baseball team ...we could never have a major league baseball team tho cause were too close to the Cubs/Reds and Tigers for that matter ..its not fiscally possible ..and hockey is gay so who cares ..we still got a "minor league" hockey team tho

And Colts finished the exact same as Pats ... Not Champs .. so it doesnt matter

And Pacers ..well .. they suck

Game 2/82
Philadelphia @ Chicago

Final Score
76ers 109- Bulls 84

The trades worked wonders as the Sixers rout Chicago 109-84 lead by old Bulls Ben Wallace and ben Gordon. Big Ben contributed with 21 points, 16 boards. Gordo added another 20 points. Also making a 76er debut was Keyon Martin. K-Mart finished with 7 points, 8 boards, and 6 dimes in 26 minutes.
The big story was how Mike Conley ran the point so efficiently and smoothly. He finished with 10 points and 4 assists in his 1st game as a starter in the NBA.

Interviews are now open
