although ryan howard is pretty clutch, its David Ortiz.

But i hate when people use clutch as a reason to why he is the best player in the league.

Talking right now ima have to say Josh Beckett. He has been unbelievable in his last 5 postseason starts. He 5 hit shutout the New York Yankees @Yankee stadium in the 2003 WS clinching game,4 hit shutout the Angles in the 07 ALDS, defeated the Indians both games striking out 18 combined, and won another WS game improving his postseason record to 6-2 in 9 starts with a 1.73 ERA with 3 CG shutouts

ima have to go with big papi he always get that clutch hit. Ill never forget when the os were in first in 2005 when he hit that walk off hr off bj ryan that set our season down the drain.
