| if you keep getting beat with the highly accurate slant pass, then try this.
Works best with a 3-4 D but works with 4-3 as well
play: Cover 1
Press the receivers
Put the Linebackers in zone
if in 3-4 blitz one of the ILB and make the other ILB a spy
if in 4-3 then put the MLB in spy
this should easily stop the slant pass with knockdowns and even some easy picks. let me know if it worked for you!? |

| if you have time blitz the OLBs and put the DEs in zone. may take a few but makes the opponent think there will be no one in the throwing lanes |
