| AL CY Young: Cliff Lee
NL CY Young: I really think that CC should be considering that he is 10-0 with a minuscule ERA since being traded with a no hitter, and pitching at least 8 in the majority of the games _________________ Write this down: I will be the next Republican scandal...all over Sarah Palin's face |

| I just feel that Tim Lincecum deserves the Cy Young. This guy would have 20 wins already if it wasnt for the Giants piss poor set up men in Tyler Walker and Jack Taschner (Tyler being the one who blew most of his wins) The guy leads the league in strikeouts and leads the NL in ERA and he didnt take a half year off like CC did. Cy Young is not a half year award. And Webb just blew his Cy Young chances by his last two starts and bringing his ERA over 3.00 Also Lincecum even outdueled Webb back in early August or Late July dont rememeber exactly with 13 Ks and 1 ER but of course Walker blew that game. Also Linececum has more quality wins than Webb and CC who has played nothing but bum teams since the trade. And how can alot of people forget about CC's pathetic AL record. The guy lost to the Royals twice, A's Twice, Rangers and Tigers once. He has a combined record of 15-8. Lincecum record is really impressive because he has one of the worst offenses backing him up and yet he still has a 15-3 record. Also just for a good story Scott McLain hit his first ML homerun today. _________________ |

AL offense are tougher than the NL cuz of the DH those teams with the exception of KC have good offenses... especially Texas there #1... and u forget cleveland's offense is bad this year and didnt give C.C much support also if Lincecum pitched in the AL his numbers wouldnt be where they are now, i think we can all agree the top AL offense are better than the top NL offense because of the DH rule C.C is in the NL now and Lincecum is in the NL and were talking NL Cy Young so you should only look at NL numbers.... if u want you can say that Lincecum has more Ks and a better ERA for a longer duration, but dont bring C.C's AL numbers into the conversation cuz you cant compare that with Lincecum, its a different variable |

im just wondering y u think Youk should be MVP he has good numbers but he isnt even the mvp of the team nevermind the AL imo the top 3 canidates in the AL are Pedroia, Quentin, Morneau Pedroia is the most valuable player right now... he does it all, he hits for average, he hits for power, great with the glove, has a cannon of an arm and turns double plays that look impossible to turn, and has been stealing alot of bases lately he hits in the #2 spot and still hits .333 AVG|17 HRS|76 RBI I know he doesnt hit 30+ HRS but for a 5'6" 2B he is pretty powerful |

| i'm not saying that pedroia isn't one of the top canidates but youk is hitting 315, 24 hrs and 94 rbi's. thats 7 more hr's and 18 more rbi's than youkalis for .009 avg. he is very valuable in the feild because he rarely makes errors and filled in for mike lowell at third which helped out a lot. _________________ Sox goin' back to back Redsox = World Champions Celtics = World Champions |

| AL MVP - Josh Hamilton NL MVP - Albert Pujols/Berkman...howard dont got the BA, if he did...that would be unanimous AL Cy Young - Cliff Lee NL Cy Young - if lincecum gets those 3 wins, he gets it...its not going to be between CC, he only has 9 wins plus harden's ERA has been better than him...just CC eats innings...i maen, if ur going to win Cy Young in half a yaer, u need at least 14 wins. _________________ |
